Sustainable Hotel Austria
You know the saying: If lots of little people in lots of little places do lots of little things, they can change the face of the world. We can all do things differently and make things better for our nature. Nobody is perfectly sustainable anyway! Our electricity, for example, comes from renewable energy, the heat from our own biomass heating plant, and in our hotel kitchen around nine out of ten ingredients come from Austria. Are you looking for a sustainable hotel in Austria? Then come to us, the imperfect but honest ones.
Better imperfect
as unbelievable
We are on the way. Every step counts.
We are not perfect, but we are 100% honest.
We protect what we love – and what you love! So that you can enjoy the mountains.
Everyone in the team pulls together.
You are also invited, please join in!
Thomas's heart's issue is to stop food waste.
Our electricity comes from renewable energy. LED lights are used almost everywhere. Motion detectors control the lighting in the corridors. We generate our own heat in our own biomass heating plant. In summer we heat the indoor swimming pool with waste heat from the cold storage facilities.
Around nine out of ten ingredients in our kitchen come from Austria. Kiwis and salmon, for example, are obviously not from here. We are therefore increasingly questioning which exotic products we really need.
Hotel and chef Thomas does everything he can to reduce food waste to a minimum.
The two electric charging stations for cars in the garage are powered by renewable energy.
We use environmentally friendly detergents and cleaning products. Help us to be a sustainable hotel in Austria, for example by reusing your towels - including in the swimming pool and sauna - and only having your rooms cleaned every other day. Thank you!
Hotel slippers are another flimsy thing that the world doesn't need. That's why we've done away with them. You definitely have flip-flops at home that you can bring with you, right?
They don't take up any space in your luggage and they're more comfortable anyway. Win-win-win!
