Dear hiking friends, we are delighted when you come to our beautiful homeland to hike. The area around Hollersbach/Mittersill is the winning combination in the hiking lottery. To the north lie the Kitzbühel Alps with their alpine pastures and postcard motifs. To the south, the Hohe Tauern fan out, where impressive cliffs, valleys and the famous 3,000-meter Großvenediger and Großglockner await you. With your National Park Summer Card, you can use the cable cars and hiking buses for free. You can also take part in free guided hikes or, for a fee, go on excursions with National Park rangers who will show you amazing natural wonders and mountain animals such as eagles or ibexes.

Because our hotel is located right between the Kitzbühel grass mountains and the Hohe Tauern, you can decide every day whether you want to go on a leisurely leisurely tour or a tough summit tour. We will help you plan your hiking days and know which stroller-friendly paths and alpine huts there are for you to stop at.

Rental equipment

Please bring hiking clothes and hiking boots. Good footwear is especially important. Rainwear and a warm layer of clothing - the onion principle - are always a good idea. If you are missing something, you can borrow a backpack, hiking poles and a water bottle from us free of charge.
