Enjoy the landscape to the fullest
A special delight for cross-country skiers is the Hochmoor-Panoramaloipe at the middle station of the panoramic cable car. In the Wasenmoos nature reserve, cross-country skiers and skaters do their laps through deep snow-covered forests and idyllic landscapes. The toboggan runs promise great fun for the whole family. At the Gasthof Berghof in Hollersbach, a 2.5 km long run beckons. Or you can explore the longest illuminated toboggan run in the world. This runs for 14 km from the Wildkogel (start: Smaragdbahn mountain station) to Bramberg. The toboggan run is lit daily until 10 pm. Every Friday, the ascent is even open until 6:30 p.m.
You can also experience the beauty of winter in many other activities. For example, on a ride in a horse-drawn carriage or a winter walk through the snow-covered nature. Guided snowshoe hikes or ski tours lead to unknown places. Ice skating or curling promise fun for the whole family.
