Only a few hundred metres from the Hotel Kaltenhauser is the direct access to the skiing area of Kitzbühel. The 8-person single-cable gondola takes you from Hollersbach right into the heart of the Kitzbühel Alps. A ski paradise at your doorstep! The award-winning ski area boasts 57 modern lifts and cable cars as well as 230 km of pistes with guaranteed snow. The best conditions for all ski and snowboard fans – from beginners to professionals. The perfectly groomed slopes offer optimal conditions for every skill level.
For variety, the ski areas Wildkogel Arena, Zillertal Arena, or the glacier ski area Kitzsteinhorn are only a few kilometres away.
Sufficient parking spaces for cars and buses are available at the valley station of the panoramic cable car in Hollersbach/Grubing. Ski depot, ski rental, ski and snowboard shop, ski and snowboard school, and an après-ski pub are available to guests.
A free ski bus takes our guests from the hotel to the valley station and back again.
Worth seeing is the panoramic window into the Hohe Tauern National Park directly at the mountain station – a weatherproof National Park facility. From the terrace-like, glazed porch, you can get an overview of the summit world of the Hohe Tauern as well as a lot of additional information about the protected area with the help of a movable flat screen.
